In 2007 and 2008, The Leading Institute is offering a number of choices and scheduling options for Leading from the Middle.

Leading from the Middle Washington DC offers six six-hour classes offered on Saturdays from October to January. Fellows then get three months of executive coaching The classes will be held at Manna Inc., near the Rhode Island Metro stop. The Washington D.C. program is made possible by a partnership with Manna Inc., the Center for Excellence in Public Leadership at George Washington University and The Democracy Collaborative at the University of Maryland. Conflict is a natural part of group work, growth and change. Learn how to manage conflict and resistance to create more effective solutions and build better relationships.

Learn to lead in diverse organizations and communities, and how to manage the challenges of diversity to find more creative solutions to problems.
 
..Executive Coaching
Each fellow will be matched with a coach. Coaches are current or retired executives and senior-level professionals in community development
or planning.

A graduation ceremony will be held after the coaching period. Fellows must successfully complete at least 85% of the training sessions and coaching to receive a Certificate of Completion.
